Intel Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (x/w)
The new Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 module is built around Intel's most advanced Wi-Fi 6 chipset, complemented by Killer's most powerful network technologies.
In short, the Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 is a 2x2, Wi-Fi 6 module that supports 160MHz channels and Bluetooth 5.0. You can see a picture of the small module directly above. Thanks to Wi-Fi 6 technology, which uses 160MHz channels, the Killer AX1650 is claimed to offer a maximum throughput of 2.4 Gbps, as well as introducing technology to provide more usable performance in crowded environments. In combination with a Wi-Fi 6 access point, the AX1650 offers:
- Up to 3X the performance of previous generation 80MHz 2x2 AC devices
- up to 40% higher performance than previous generation 160MHz 2x2 AC devices

For example, users should benefit from 'Advanced Stream Detect Technology 2.0' which prioritizes important data packets and can result in "up to 3x better in-game latency performance when using the AX1650 during peak usage periods. network". Additionally, 'GameFast technology' automatically pauses unnecessary processes when gaming, freeing up "up to 10 percent of CPU cycles and 20 percent of memory." - 1.0.2.14 (Windows 10), 2.0.1.3 (Windows 11) for Intel® Killer ™ E3100
- 10.050.0511.2021 (Windows 10), 1125.002.0909.2021 (Windows 11) for Intel® Killer ™ E3000, E3100G
- 10.050.0511.2021 (Windows 10), 1168.002.0909.2021 (Windows 11) for Intel® Killer ™ E2500v2, E2600
- 3.1121.1019.2 for Killer Networking software
Note: This software release version does not include new drivers for the Killer E2200, Killer E2400, Killer, E2500, Killer 1525 Wireless, Killer 1535 Wireless, Killer 1435 Wireless, or Killer AX500 Wireless adapters, but the Killer Networking software can be installed on systems with the above adapters.
