It really exceeded my expectations, I saw around 115 Mbps live on my router, and also on the adapter on the other side of my house. Basically no loss of speed at all. This is remarkable considering the Asus AC1300 adapter which costs twice as much lowering the speed to 60-70Mbps in the same location, and on the same 5GHz channel. I've returned Asus to Fry's, and I'm keeping this one.
